I offer both regular and mini microchips depending on the size of the breed. (IF you pet is expected to be under 10kg when fully grown, I would use a mini chip, over this I would use a regular chip) Mini microchips are 40% smaller than the standard chip, at 8.5 x 1.4 mm compared with the big old chips at 12 x 2.12 mm. The smaller size and weight means they are much less likely to migrate away from the injection site, and we can also use a much smaller needle, meaning microchipping is less invasive for your pet.
I can make sure that your pet is microchiped and registered on the Petlog database, to ensure you are covered by the UK's largest lost and found pet service for microchipped pets.
All registrations are completed online at the time of implant so no need to send off any forms as the Petlog database is updated while I am with you.
The Petlog call centre is open 24/7 365 days a year and based in the UK, also Petlog is linked to a European network of databases, which includes 32 databases working together giving your customers the best chance of finding your pets wherever they are lost even in another country.
Hygiene is of the up most importance and no needles are ever re-used. All needles are disposed of in a sharps bin after a single use.
